Mood Orbit doesn't ask you to create an account or sign in. There's no username, password, or email tied to your use of the app.
Everything you log — moods, notes, photos, and voice memos — is stored locally on your device using Apple's on-device storage (SwiftData). It is not uploaded to us or to any third party, and we have no way to see it.
If you enable the AI Twin, the messages you send it are sent to our proxy server, which forwards them to our AI provider (Anthropic) to generate a reply, then the reply is sent back to your device. No name, email, or account is attached to these messages — only an anonymous, per-install device identifier used solely to prevent abuse. You can turn the AI Twin off at any time in Settings, which stops all network calls for this feature.
Purchases and subscription status are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We don't operate our own payment or subscription system, and no separate company receives your purchase information.
Mood Orbit does not include any advertising SDKs, analytics trackers, or third-party data collection beyond what's described above.
You can delete all of your data at any time from Settings → Clear all data. Deleting the app also removes everything stored locally on your device.
Mood Orbit is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
